this is a picture of me recovering from a skin cancer surgery. there were some drugs involved, a very kind and loving nurse, and a pet menagerie on the bed. a pretty sweet recovery, i tell ya.
and this one: what an angel. especially when asleep.
lots of muddy oregon walks with the dog who loves to run around in the forest.
she's getting less and less terrible at the roller skating thing. so much less terrible that i'm beginning to actually enjoy going to the roller rink with her.
she does homework during power outages. in fact, she may be one of power outage's biggest fans.

my mom was gifted a photo session at a local portrait studio. we both don't like to get our pictures taken, but ending up having fun. here are three generations:
as adah's kindergarten teacher says, "some people like to take life very seriously."
