the cure for blogger's block?

bring home 797 (literally) student journal entries to read! and now i will take a break from the stack of awkward, and take a moment to pay homage to recent springliness:

all right, this one's a little grey, but here's some cheer:

deborah and adah's after dinner dandelion collection contest.

and introducing our new family of baby bunnies, who came to life at the breakfast table this morning...

lately? grateful for a little bit of sun, even if it's interspersed with rain. i'm normally not very downtrodden by 9 months of rain, but this year it's killing me. last week i was seriously considering moving my family towards a teaching job in abu dhabi. this is what happens when you're sun deprived and enduring the everlasting antiochian mentality of wanderlust-- you daydream of spontaneously moving to a foreign country so you can spend the afternoons riding camels.

stay tuned for the next post: what happens when a feminist takes her princess-loving kid to disneyland? they have a blast.

aw, love the spring on your blog. my littles spent play time after dinner last night looking for the best blocked gutter accessible from the backyard. you know, so they could hold their heads in the deluge and see whose hair got wetter. heh. they had on raincoats and i still had to wring out their shirts.

SO eager for the disney update. how are the daughters of feminists not at least slightly immune to the preschool princess madness? the pinkness at our house is nearly killing me.

xo.
