when we arrived home after spending the afternoon making pasta necklaces, adah mentioned that she wanted to walk over to zanna's and give her the antennae headband that her and muh made in preparation for their matching halloween costumes. when we got there, zanna and mama joanna weren't home yet. then there were these lyrics:
is zanna home?
i want to give her this headband for a present.
is zanna home?
i want to go in.

we're going in there.
i don't see her van coming.
we're going to wait right here.
is her in there?
where are they?
maybe her mom's in the shower.
i want to go in for a snack.

ah, i love your blog even when zanna isn't mentioned. this post with that precious picture of adah and her brilliant spoken word has rather made my morning!
and i wanted to tell you that yesterday i opned up your blog with zanna sitting on my lap at the computer. that creepy picture of judy popped up, and zanna dissolved into maniacal laugh saying, "juuudy! juuudy!" as often as she could catch her breath. yeesh.
